A New Chapter in Chess Development ♟️

Starting from the next class onward, we’re introducing the MCC Student/Coach Portal — a new platform designed to make student development more visible, personalised, and connected.

How does it work?

Coaches can log in and provide dedicated feedback for each individual student, highlighting their strengths, weaknesses, and areas to focus on. Students and parents can then log in to view this feedback and follow their progress over time.

We wanted to make it easier for students to understand where they are lacking and how they can improve, while giving parents a clearer picture of their child’s development.

The platform is also open to coaches outside Maldives Chess Club who would like to use it with their own students.

The project is being developed by Kaif Mausoom and Mohamed Farish, with the goal of creating a more structured and connected approach to chess development.
